Chapter 378 Professor Trelawney was kicked out of the castle—how could it be! ! !

"enough!"

Harry felt a jerk in his chest, and he staggered backwards several times, hitting a shelf against the wall, and something shattered with a crack.Snape was trembling slightly, his face pale.

The back of Harry's robes was wet; he had just knocked a bottle open, and a slimy thing inside was swirling in the draining potion.

"It's back to normal," Snape hissed, and the bottle closed again. "Ah, Potter. That's an improvement." Snape gasped slightly. "I don't remember telling you to use the Iron Armor Charm, but there's no doubt that it worked."

Harry didn't speak, he felt that saying anything would be dangerous. He knew that he just broke into Snape's memory and saw Snape's childhood. He felt very uncomfortable, thinking that the little boy who watched his parents quarrel and cried was standing in front of him at this moment, with such strong hatred in his eyes...

"How about one more time?" Snape said.

Harry felt a fright: he guessed he was going to pay for what he had just done. The two of them stood across the table, and Harry found it much more difficult to clear his mind this time.

"On the count of three," Snape said, raising his wand again, "One to two."

They continued to practice Occlumency.

But Hera was in the foyer of the castle at this time. Right now, it was crowded with people. He also heard the commotion coming down from the fourth floor. When he ran here, it was already full of people. Students who had finished their meal crowded out from the auditorium to see what happened. There were also many people crowded on the marble stairs.

The bystanders have already formed a big circle, some of them are shocked, some even look terrified.Professor McGonagall was just across from Hera, and she seemed to feel quite uncomfortable with the scene in front of her.

In fact, it's really hard to accept, even if it happens to someone who is not liked by many people
Professor Trelawney stood in the middle of the hall, wand in one hand and an empty bottle in the other, looking completely insane. Her hair was thick, her glasses were crooked, making one eye larger than the other, and her countless scarves and shawls were hung in a mess, making her look tattered.Beside her were two large boxes, one of which was upside down as if thrown from a staircase.Professor Trelawney seemed to be staring in horror at something at the bottom of the stairs, which Hera couldn't quite see.

"NO!" she screamed, "NO! This can't happen...impossible...I refuse to accept it!"

"You didn't expect this?" said a high-pitched little girl's voice, seemingly amused.Hera shifted to the right, and saw that the thing Trelawney was terrified of was Professor Umbridge. "Although you can't even predict tomorrow's weather, you should always realize that your poor performance in my class and no improvement after that will inevitably lead to your dismissal, right?"

"You - you can't!" howled Professor Trelawney, tears streaming from behind the large glasses, "you - you can't fire me! I've been - I've been here for sixteen years! Ho - Hogwarts is my - my home!"

"It used to be your home," said Professor Umbridge.Seeing Professor Trelawney slump on a box and weep bitterly, with a smug smile on her toad face, Hera felt sick. "Until the Minister for Magic signed your dismissal order an hour ago. Now please leave the hall, you are embarrassing us."

But she stood there, gleefully watching Professor Trelawney tremble, whimper, and rock back and forth on the box in fits of grief.Hera heard a sob on the left, and looked back, Lavender and Parvati were hugging each other and weeping silently. Then he heard footsteps, and Professor McGonagall squeezed his way through the crowd, walked right up to Professor Trelawney, patted her on the back vigorously, and pulled a bandanna from his robes.

"Okay, okay, Sybil... calm down... blow your nose...it's not as bad as you think...you're not leaving Hogwarts..."

Hera also squeezed out from the crowd, and he has roughly figured out the situation. He went straight to Professor Trelawney and helped her up with Professor McGonagall.

"Sybil, don't worry, no one can drive you away, the situation is not that bad."

"Oh, really? Lestrange." Umbridge said viciously, taking a few steps forward, "Who approved this...?"

"No one needs to approve this. Your dismissal order is a joke." Hera stared at Umbridge fiercely. Although he had already guessed about the day, when all this really happened, he was a little outraged.

And what could be more annoying than Umbridge?

Probably only Connery Fudge the dumbass, who can always do all kinds of stupid things and make everyone hate him.

"Are you saying that the dismissal order issued by the Minister for Magic is a joke?" Umbridge let out a particularly nasty smirk. "I'm afraid you don't even know what—"

"Shut your mouth." Hera took out her wand and pointed it at Umbridge, "If you dare to say another word, I will never show mercy."

Umbridge took a small timid step back, staring at the tip of her wand with some trepidation.

"You know what I dare to do, you know what I've done before, it's the easiest thing for me to do - to shut a man up forever," said Hera viciously, sending his wand forward so that Umbridge's legs gave way and he almost fell to the ground.

"Okay, Hera, it's not that far yet." Professor McGonagall slapped Hera's hand, and she had already lifted Trelawney up from the ground. Trelawney's condition looked terrible, and she couldn't stand alone at all.

But no matter who it is, they all know to keep Trelawney. As Dumbledore said, he has been waiting for Trelawney's next prophecy. He has been waiting for 16 years for this. How could he be dismissed because of Fudge's dismissal order.

This is why Hera has the confidence to treat Umbridge like this.

Dumbledore knew and would approve of everything he did.

"You're going to get into big trouble," Umbridge said with a sneer.

"Bones to pieces!" Hera shook her arm and cast a shattering curse on Umbridge - the stone steps next to her.

Umbridge staggered and fell directly to the ground. All the students gave way to her. She sat there so helpless that she even forgot to draw out her wand to resist.

"Better remember what I said." Hera said coldly.

"Enough, Hera!" shouted Professor McGonagall, "Let's send Sybil back to the observatory first."

"She needs some lessons." Hera reluctantly withdrew her wand, gave Umbridge a final cold glance, and turned around to help Professor McGonagall lift Professor Trelawney up.

"Hera!" said a deep voice.

The oak door opened, and the students at the door hurried out of the way, and Dumbledore appeared at the door.Hera looked at him with her lips pursed, wondering if Dumbledore would be angry at his reckless behavior. He hadn't wanted to, but Umbridge had gone too far.

Standing in the door frame, Dumbledore had a sense of majesty against the misty night. He left the door open and strode through the crowd to Professor Trelawney.

"Your men were just about to attack a Ministry official - no, he already did." Umbridge screamed hysterically, not much better than Professor Trelawney, and she looked almost insane.

To Hera's great surprise, Dumbledore was still smiling. He looked down at Professor Trelawney who was being lifted up by Professor McGonagall and Hera. She was still sobbing, "Then I apologize to the Ministry of Magic on his behalf." He looked at Hera meaningfully, and Hera knew that he would inevitably listen to Dumbledore's lesson in the principal's office afterwards.

However, the immediate matter is obviously more important.

"This is—" Umbridge pulled a roll of parchment from his robes. "A dismissal signed by myself and the Minister of Magic. According to Educational Prohibition No. 20 Three, the Hogwarts High Inquisitor has the power to inspect, keep for probation and dismiss any teacher who - that is, I - deems not to meet the standards of the Ministry of Magic. I do not think that Professor Trelawney is qualified, and I have dismissed her."

It's really hard to imagine how she had the courage to say such a thing, knowing that none of the people present was on her side—no matter how unpopular Trelawney's course was, it couldn't compare to Umbridge.

Dumbledore was still smiling, and he didn't seem to care about Umbridge's words, nor the parchment in her hand, "Of course you are right, Professor Umbridge. As the Supreme Inquisitor, you have the right to fire my teachers. But I'm afraid you don't have the right to expel them from the castle. This power—" he bowed politely, "It belongs to the headmaster. I hope that Professor Trelawney will continue to live in Hogwarts."

Professor Trelawney laughed excitedly, with a choked-up sob.

"I told you, Dumbledore won't just let you go." Hera whispered to Trelawney, but almost everyone heard it.

"No—no, I'm leaving, Dumbledore! I'm leaving—leaving Hogwarts, and making a living elsewhere—" Professor Trelawney was prodded, or insulted, and it stirred her rare self-esteem, though her tone was not quite so firm.

"No," said Dumbledore firmly, "I want you to stay, Sybil."

He turned to Professor McGonagall and Hera, who were supporting Sybil.

"Will you take Trelawney upstairs, Minerva?"

"Of course," said Meg. "Come upstairs, Sybil."

"You'd better stay here, Hera." Dumbledore stopped Hera, who wanted to go upstairs together. But Dumbledore's words stopped him.

Professor Sprout rushed up and took Professor Trelawney's other arm, taking Hera's place. They led her past Umbridge and up the marble stairs.Professor Flitwick ran after her wand, screaming, "Move the box." Professor Trelawney's box rose into the air and followed her upstairs, Professor Flitwick's back.

Umbridge stood there, staring at Dumbledore, who was still smiling kindly.

"What Lestrange did to me—I think it was intimidation, threats, no doubt, he would be subject to—"

"I will warn him, but I'm afraid the Ministry of Magic can't do anything to him. He's not a teacher at Hogwarts. I'm afraid you don't have the power yet." Dumbledore still smiled, but his tone was so irrefutable, which made Hera heave a sigh of relief.Sure enough, Dumbledore was on his side.

"I'll tell the Minister what he's done," said Umbridge viciously, and she gave Hera a hard look, but she shivered subconsciously when Hera just made a gesture to draw her wand - she was really worried that Hera would give her a killing curse.

That's Lestrange!

The scariest, most evil of men, and everyone else was deluded by him, but Umbridge wasn't - at least she thought she was.

"Okay, Hera, you've done a good job." Dumbledore patted Hera on the shoulder, which reassured Hera a lot. It seemed that Dumbledore didn't mean to blame him.Dumbledore continued happily: "Very well, then let me introduce the new divination teacher."

"Have you looked for—?" said Umbridge sharply. "Have you looked for it? I remind you, Dumbledore, that according to Education Order No. 20 Number Two—"

"—the Ministry of Magic has the power to appoint teachers only if the Headmaster cannot find a suitable candidate. I am happy to announce that this time I have found one. Shall I introduce you?"

With her hands tucked into her cloak and fists clenched, Hera walked up to Dumbledore, looking directly at Umbridge.

"Let me introduce it to you." Dumbledore said as he turned his head to the door, through which night mist drifted in.Hera heard the hooves of the horses, and there were terrified murmurs in the hall, and the people by the door hurried back further, and some stumbled.

Out of the fog emerged a face that Hera had seen more than once in the Forbidden Forest: pale blond hair, startlingly blue eyes, a human head and limbs mounted on a fawn-colored horse.

He is Hagrid's friend. Although Hera is not familiar with him, it does not prevent Hera from knowing that he is a kind of centaur - he does not reject contact with humans, which is very different from his group of chattering fellows.

"This is Firenze," said Dumbledore cheerfully to a stunned Umbridge. "I think you'll find him a good fit."

He is indeed a perfect candidate. Everyone in the magic world knows that centaurs are born to like to play with constellations. Although few people can understand what they see, there is no doubt that no one doubts the centaurs' talent in divination.

They are natural born masters of divination--everyone thinks so.

Although no one really knew they all made those prophecies, because the centaurs always refused to associate with human wizards, thinking it was not in line with their ancestors-but Firenze was an exception.

Hera was not surprised that Firenze would agree, he had revealed early on that he was interested in wizards.Although he turned down the deal with Hera - Hera tried to sell him two pairs of shoes.

Firenze thought it was an insult, like a horseshoe, the greatest insult to a centaur.Of course, he didn't blame Hera, it wasn't Hera's problem, most wizards misunderstood the centaur.
