Chapter 335 You Can't Deny the Existence You Don't Know

Chapter 335 You Can't Deny the Existence You Don't Know
"I suddenly felt that I was full of curiosity about the future." Hera replied with a smile.

Professor Trelawney nodded in disbelief, "Unfortunately, you are too old."

"I—!" Hera thought she was still young, that is, a young man in her 20s, but Professor Trelawney was 20 years older than herself, how dare she say that she was old?

"Okay, Professor Trelawney, please get ready for class." Umbridge's toad-like grin widened.

"Of course." Professor Trelawney nodded, and she turned back to the podium.

"Very good," said Umbridge coquettishly.

Professor Trelawney nodded grimly and looked away from Umbridge.Still grinning, Umbridge grabbed the back of the armchair closest to her and pulled it to the front of the room, placing it a few inches behind Professor Trelawney's seat. Then she sat down, pulled a clipboard out of her gaudy bag, looked up expectantly, and waited for the lesson to begin.

Hera narrowed her eyes and looked at the two people in front of her. He always felt that Trelawney, an old master, would suffer a lot.Hera understood at this moment why Umbridge hadn't said a word in Flitwick's class.

"She thinks she has no ability to bully Professor Flitwick." Hera murmured, "She must start with the easiest point of attack in Hogwarts, and Professor Trelawney is obviously the unlucky one."

Professor Trelawney stood in front of the podium. She tightened the shawl wrapped around her body with slightly trembling hands, and looked at the whole class through her big eyes that magnified many times.

Hera lay on the table without any intention of attending the divination class. For him, divination was almost the biggest lie in the entire wizarding world, even though Professor Trelawney once made a prophecy about Harry and Voldemort—but just like she said, ordinary people do not have the talent for prophecy at all.

That is probably a talent that only exists in the blood, just like Parseltongue.

"Today we continue to study prophetic dreams," Professor Trelawney bravely said in a mysterious tone, but her voice was slightly trembling, even if Hera didn't pay attention, she could hear it, let alone the students in the class. "Please divide the students into pairs, and with the help of the "Guide to Interpreting Dreams", explain to each other what they saw in their dreams recently."

She was about to return to her seat when she saw Umbridge sitting next to her, and immediately walked towards the students, who were already concentrating on discussing dreams.

Hera lay on the table and thought about it. Anyway, Trelawney is also one of the professors at Hogwarts. Although she looks like an old magician, Dumbledore definitely didn't have a purpose in keeping her here. He'd better help Trelawney. She looked really nervous.

"Trelawney, don't think so much, we are all on your side." Hera whispered next to Trelawney's ear, which made her eyes moist, and she tightly clenched her hands in front of her chest.

"Thank you so much, Hera, I really didn't know—"

"Ahem, don't let her find out." Hera coughed lightly, and he could clearly feel Umbridge's gaze wandering back and forth between him and Trelawney.Simply, he moved an armchair and sat in the middle of the classroom, so that no matter where Trelawney was, he could help her out immediately.

Umbridge looked up from time to time, and lowered his head from time to time to write on the clipboard. After a few minutes, she stood up and followed Professor Trelawney around the classroom, listening to Trelawney's conversation with her classmates and asking a question or two from time to time.

"Hera, do you know what she's doing?" Harry asked quietly, and Ron looked at him too.

Hera leaned over and said in a very low voice: "Do you even need to ask? She is exercising the power of a senior investigator."

"How could she have the guts?" Ron protested. "All of us have had enough of her."

"Of course she dares." Hera said lightly, "The Ministry of Magic is putting pressure on Hogwarts. I bet they never asked Dumbledore's opinion before issuing this decree."

"Dumbledore won't agree," said Harry.

Hera and Ron Qiqi nodded, it was obvious.

"Do you have any basis for this? I mean, is there any logic in divination?" Umbridge said. "I really don't understand the relationship between dreams and reality."

"This is a very profound knowledge. Too many people have been polluted by the world, and they can't open their Celestial Eye." Trelawney said dryly. She couldn't find any evidence to prove everything she taught, and could only repeat words like Celestial Eye and Mist.

"So," said Umbridge, looking up at Trelawney, "how long have you been in this position, exactly?"

Trelawney glared at her fiercely, crossing her arms and hunching her shoulders, as if trying to protect herself from such a crude and feeble investigation. She paused a little, as if deciding that the question wasn't so abrupt that she had no reason to ignore it, and said in a very sullen tone, "Almost sixteen years."

"It's not a short time." Umbridge said and made a few more notes on her clipboard. "So Professor Dumbledore hired you?"

"That's right," said Professor Trelawney flatly.

Hera stood up, standing between Umbridge and Trelawney, "Professor Umbridge, I don't think you really have the ability to evaluate Hogwarts."

"Why do you know that?" Umbridge closed the clipboard with a snap, and looked up at Hera viciously. She knew early in the morning that Hera was looking for trouble for her, but she didn't expect to refute her openly on the first day.

Hera shrugged, "Because you can't teach a class well by yourself."

"I followed the safest and most reliable teaching method formulated by the education experts of the Ministry of Magic." Umbridge said, raising his head a little higher.

"But it doesn't do the students any good. You don't even let them practice mantras in class."

"This is the plan of the Ministry of Magic." Umbridge's tone was very firm, as if the words of the Ministry of Magic were always correct.

"Then I can only say that you don't understand Hogwarts." Hera said this, and the atmosphere froze suddenly.

All the students in the divination classroom turned their heads to look at them, and the "Dream Interpretation Guide" in their hands had been put aside.

"I don't know Hogwarts?" Umbridge laughed exaggeratedly, as if she heard something very ridiculous, "I also studied in this school, can I understand that you are insulting an official of the Ministry of Magic?"

"It's almost there." Professor Trelawney tugged on Hera's sleeve and said in a low voice.

"If that's what you mean," Hera turned her head and said flatly, "I won't say it."

He's trying to make trouble for Umbridge, but that doesn't mean he's going to have a hot face and a cold ass.

Professor Trelawney cleared his throat, and took a small step forward, "Professor Umbridge, you can continue to ask, I don't think I have anything that cannot be disclosed."

Hera frowned, and he turned and left the divination classroom. He knew he couldn't explain Trelawney, a fool.

So, he went directly to the principal's office.

"Dumbledore——" Hera pushed the door open, and Dumbledore immediately put something on his hands in a panic, but when Hera turned around and closed the door, Dumbledore returned to his usual steady posture.

"I think you came here for the headlines this morning." Dumbledore said with a smile, waving his arms on the table, and a pile of small snacks appeared on it. "Don't worry about getting angry, let's have some afternoon tea, shall we?"

Hera sat down on the chair opposite Dumbledore's desk, picked up a small snack on the table and ate it.

"You're absolutely right." Hera said while eating, "I really don't understand why the Ministry of Magic would do this. Are they just to control Hogwarts?"

"Aside from me, what else are they afraid of?" Dumbledore said humorously. He reached out and picked up a small snack, put it in his mouth, and tasted it.

"That's true. They firmly deny the fact that the Dark Lord has returned." Hera said dryly, "Umbridge has been listening to the lectures of the professors."

"I heard." Dumbledore blinked. "But I don't think she can control you yet."

"That's right, but the power in her hands is a bit terrifying. It's like a child holding a magic wand and chanting the death curse." Hera sighed and said slowly. "Nobody knows what she might do with the power of the Ministry."

"I have some ideas," said Dumbledore. "If this is what Connery wants to see, then she will definitely find ways to get me out of Hogwarts."

"They tried it before," said Hera, who still had confidence in Dumbledore. "They tried it a few years ago, but they failed. Hogwarts must be run by you."

"That's when I discovered that Hogwarts could be well taken care of in another person's hands." Dumbledore said slyly, his eyes made Hera a little uneasy.

"Did you mean—"

"That's right, that's what you think." Dumbledore nodded with a smile, "If I'm forced to leave Hogwarts, I hope you can take good care of all the teachers and students in the school."

"But I'm not as powerful as you." Hera pouted, so he wouldn't be unclear about his own strength after being bragged by Dumbledore.

Dumbledore laughed, loudly, which puzzled Hera.

"what's so funny?"

"It's nothing, it's just that I'm getting older, and it's easy to lose my mind when chatting. I just remembered a very funny thing." Dumbledore stopped laughing, but the corners of his mouth were still curled up. "Hera, you don't know your strength yet."

"Maybe you misread it." Hera said and picked up another small snack. For some reason, he felt that the snacks in Dumbledore's office were unexpectedly delicious.

Probably because Dumbledore is one of the few people who can make Hera open up a little bit.Only here can Hera feel at ease, even in Black's old house, he is always in fear.

There was a smile in Dumbledore's eyes, and he just looked at Hera like that, "Come on, tell me, I followed Umbridge for a day today, did you find anything?"

"I think she's probably going to get rid of quite a few professors and install some of their own at Hogwarts."

"It's a good plan. If they succeed, I will be eliminated as the headmaster." Dumbledore nodded, seeming to appreciate Umbridge's approach very much.

Hera shook her head, "I don't want to see her plan succeed."

"Because the Ministry of Magic published information about you in a newspaper?"

"Not only that, but also because we can't leave the students in the hands of those irresponsible people." Hera said in a low voice. He himself was a little surprised how he would say such a thing, but he knew that this was what he thought in his heart.

Dumbledore clapped his hands happily, making a popping sound as the gloves and fingers clapped together. "I really like you more and more, Hera, you always surprise me."

"Since when did you like to wear gloves?" Hera glanced at Dumbledore's hand. There was a leather glove on his right hand. It was a mysterious alchemy product with a high price.

Dumbledore looked down at his right hand and smiled even wider, "It might help me a lot, but I won't tell you what it does."

"Well, people always have to be a little secret." Hera complained, "Speaking of which, I think Trelawney will be the first professor to be tossed by Umbridge. She looks too easy to bully."

"Yeah." Dumbledore nodded solemnly, and then asked quickly, "Do you know why I keep Sybil at Hogwarts?"

Sybil is Professor Trelawney's name.

Hera shook her head. He didn't know what Dumbledore would do to keep her at Hogwarts. After all, she had already made the prophecy, and it seemed useless.

"I'm waiting," said Dumbledore slowly. "I'm waiting for her next prophecy, which I suspect will most likely reveal the fate of Voldemort and Harry, though it may take many years."

"But she looks like an old magician." Hera mercilessly criticized Professor Trelawney, who made her predict that Hera would be poor and die young in the fourth grade!

Dumbledore smiled and shook his head, "Sybil is gifted with prophecy, and she has inherited more talents than she knows."

"You mean the words like Celestial Eye she said?" Hera asked suspiciously, after all, Trelawney always uttered this word.

Dumbledore pushed the tea tray towards Hera, "How can you prove that the Celestial Eye doesn't exist?"

Hera couldn't answer, which made Dumbledore's blue eyes full of smiles.

"You can't deny the existence of something you don't know, Hera." Dumbledore said softly, "This is a truth I want to give you."
