Chapter 121 Coming to Platform 9 and 34 Again - School Begins
"Thank you for your patronage, Mr. Malfoy." The shopkeeper followed him to the door, bowed his waist, and smiled obsequiously.
"Okay, just send it here." Lucius stopped and tapped the floor tiles lightly with his cane, making a dull sound.
Draco noticed Harry at a glance, "Potter?"
"Malfoy, why are you here?" Harry asked, frowning.
"I guess this isn't the Gryffindor common room, isn't it normal for me to be here?" Draco replied in a very greasy tone, and he was even more disgusting next to his father.
Harry was at a loss for words for a moment, not knowing how to respond, Draco took out a piece of parchment.
"Nimulator 2001, seven." Draco raised his head arrogantly, "The latest model, just released."
Harry thought to himself: "Of course I know, I come here every day."
"I'll join the Slytherin team. Get ready to face the mighty Slytherin during the game, stupid Scarhead." Draco said viciously, "Your old-fashioned sweepers, use them to sweep the floor."
"Okay, Draco, we still have things to do, we don't have time to chat with your 'little buddy'." Lucius gave Harry a cold look, making Harry feel as if he had fallen into an ice cave, but fortunately, he passed Harry quickly.
Malfoy and his son left, Harry looked at their backs, then looked back at the broomsticks in the window, and suddenly felt that they looked so hideous.
Next year's Quidditch match will be difficult for Gryffindor!
Harry left the broom shop angrily, and he planned to go to Lihen Bookstore to buy the "Curses and Anti-Curses" that he wanted to buy the first time he came, but was stopped by Hagrid.
Harry walked into the bookstore, and the manager rushed forward to greet him, "Is it from Hogwarts?" He asked unexpectedly, "Are you here to buy new books?"
"Oh, thank you, I've already bought a new book, I just came to take a look." Harry declined the enthusiastic manager, and he walked directly to the place in his memory. He clearly remembered that "Curses and Anti-Curses" had been placed on this bookshelf before.
It's a pity that he didn't know that the book had been bought by Hera.
That corner was full of slow-selling books, and there were many books on a small bookshelf.
Harry's eyes fell on a book, Omens of Death: What to Do When You Know the Worst Is Coming? ".
He stared intently at the cover of the book: there was a dog on the cover, about the size of a bear, with glowing eyes.
"Get out of the way, please," said the clerk impatiently holding a large stack of books, pushing Harry aside. "Oh, if I were you, I wouldn't read books like this."
Seeing Harry's gaze on the book, the clerk said bluntly: "When you read this book, you will see omens of death everywhere. This book will scare people to death."
Harry didn't find "Curses and Counter-Curses", but he didn't want to go to the broom shop again, and in the end, he had to go back to the Leaky Cauldron.
He went upstairs with heavy steps and returned to his room. As soon as he opened the door, his luggage was placed at the entrance. Hedwig was fluttering her wings in the cage. Someone had entered the room and cleaned it, and brought over his luggage from the Weasleys' house.
The windows were open, letting in the sunlight, and Harry could hear the cars on the invisible Muggle Street behind him, as well as the invisible crowd in Diagon Alley.
He saw himself in the mirror over the sink.
"Harry, you should be thinking about Quidditch, and Slytherins have seven new broomsticks, not some black dog," he said desperately to himself in the mirror, though he still couldn't get the black dog on the cover out of his mind.
Just by taking a look, the black dog firmly occupied his mind for some reason.
He raised his hand mechanically, trying to smooth his hair.
"You're up against a Slytherin with a new broom! My dear," he gasped into the mirror.
Days passed, and Harry looked forward to meeting Ron or Hermione. Now, many students from Hogwarts are coming to Diagon Alley, because the school will start soon.
Harry had met Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas, his Gryffindor schoolmates, who were also eyeing the broomstick greedily at the Quidditch Boutique.
He also ran into Neville outside the bookstore. Neville was being scolded by his scary-looking grandmother. Harry didn't dare to approach him. He just sneaked in to say hello to Neville and left in a hurry.
Harry woke up on the last day of summer vacation thinking he would meet Ron and Hermione on the Hogwarts Express at least the next day. After he got up, he was fully dressed, and when he was thinking about where to eat downstairs, suddenly, someone called his name vigorously, and he turned around.
"Harry! Harry!" There they were, both of them, both of them waving desperately at him. "Saw you at last!" said Ron.
Harry grinned at them. "It's good to see you all. Believe me, I'd rather live at The Burrow than the Leaky Cauldron."
"Oh, of course I know, but Harry, you also need to know that the man has escaped from prison."
Tom woke Harry up the next morning with his usual toothless smile and a cup of hot cocoa.
Harry got up and dressed, and was trying to convince an unhappy Hedwig to go back to her cage when Ron burst into the room, looking very annoyed, still pulling an undershirt over his head.
"The sooner we can get on the train, the better," said Ron. "Papa's car is parked at the door. Ginny and George and Fred are waiting outside."
"Okay," Harry said, and then George and Fred came in. They came to have a look, and Harry was very happy to see them.
In fact, as Harry walked downstairs, looking at Mr. Weasley's car, he wondered for a moment how all these people, each with a big suitcase, could fit into a tiny Ford.
Of course, he wasn't quite aware of the designs Mr. Weasley had added.
"Don't tell Molly." He opened the suitcase and showed Harry how it had been magically enlarged enough to hold the boxes.
When they were all finally in the car, Weasley started the engine and drove onto the motorway, heading towards King's Cross.
Mr. Weasley glanced at his watch, then turned to the children and said softly, "You mustn't tell Molly, she will be very angry."
"Okay, Dad."
"Okay, uncle."
Only Ginny was silent, clutching at the hem of her dress nervously, sneaking shy glances at Harry now and then.
"Nobody's going to see it, here's a little button that I put on a stealth booster - it sends us up into the sky - and we fly above the clouds and we're there in 10 minutes and nobody knows."
It seemed that Mr. Weasley had improved his car, and Fudge's words were not in vain.
At least Mr. Weasley understood the importance of invisibility.
