Alchemy professor at Hogwarts
Chapter 199 Infiltrating Hogwarts?
Chapter 199 Infiltrating Hogwarts
This map shows all the details of Hogwarts Castle, with various black dots moving on it, with names marked next to it.
Harry leaned over in amazement to see Professor Dumbledore pacing the study.
The administrator Filch's cat, Mrs. Norris, was patrolling the third floor, and the mischievous Peeves was romping around in the prize room.
He also saw a black dot marking Kayla the Catwoman moving around the castle.
But when he rubbed his eyes, the black spot suddenly disappeared again.
"This is impossible…"
"I must have misread it," Harry muttered, "the thief couldn't have come to Hogwarts."
Harry continued to look at the map, and found that there were still some passages on it that he had never traveled before, many of which seemed to lead to Hogsmeade!
"You noticed, right? This passage leads directly to Honeydukes' cellar. We've used it many times."
Fred said, "The entrance is just outside this classroom, through the hunchback of the one-eyed old crone.
"Moonface, Wormtail, Padfoot, Prongs." George patted the title of the map and sighed, "Thanks to them."
"Noble man, working tirelessly to help a new generation of offending students," said Fred solemnly.
"That's right," George agreed briskly, "Don't forget to disappear after you use it."
"Otherwise everyone will see it," Fred warned.
"Just tap it again and say the prank is over! It's a blank sheet of paper again."
"Now, little Harry," said Fred, imitating Percy eccentrically, "you can do it yourself!"
"See you, Honey Dukes." George blinked.
Before leaving, they stuffed Harry with stretch ears.
It was their newest invention, perfect for eavesdropping.
"Ginny's good friend, the little witch named Luna, has put forward a lot of suggestions for improvement." The twins said in unison before leaving.
Can I go to Hogsmeade now?
Harry's breathing quickened and his heart beat hard.
He carefully slipped out of the classroom and hid behind the statue of the one-eyed witch. Vanessa happened to pass by in the corridor, and her walk was even more light.
"I got it!" She excitedly said to a little witch beside her, "Professor Ollivander gave me the first Rubik's Cube!"
"Maybe I'm the first person in Hogwarts to get the Rubik's Cube!"
The little witch next to Vanessa immediately cast envious eyes.
"Separate left and right!" After the two walked away, Harry whispered and knocked on the stone statue again.
Immediately, the hunched back of the statue opened, allowing a thinner person to get in.
Harry scanned both sides of the corridor quickly, then put the map back in his pocket, ducked headfirst into the hole, and walked on.
Thinking that someone has already obtained the Rubik's Cube, Harry's heart itch.
However, as long as he helps the team win the Quidditch game between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff next Wednesday, I believe Ms. Hodge will reward him with one.
Ten minutes later, Harry, traveling through the circuitous passage, came to the bottom of a dilapidated stone staircase leading to a trapdoor above.
Harry slowly pushed open the trapdoor into a cellar full of groceries, and slipped out to find himself standing behind the counter at Honeydukes.
Honeydukes was packed with Hogwarts students, and no one gave Harry a second glance.
Rows and rows of the juiciest sweets, huge chunks of buttery-yellow nougat, shiny pink coconut sorbet, honey-coloured toffee.
There are also hundreds of neatly arranged chocolates, a large bucket of Bibi multi-flavored beans, and a large bucket of Zizi bee candies...
Harry squeezed his way through a group of sixth years, beneath which Ron and Hermione stood, studying a plate of blood-smelling lollipops.
"Er, no, I guess Harry wouldn't want such things, they're for vampires," said Hermione.
"How about these?" said Ron, pushing a jar of cockroach candy under Hermione's nose.
"Absolutely not," said Harry.
Ron almost threw the jar away.
"Harry!" screamed Hermione, "what are you doing here? How - how -"
"Wow!" Ron was overwhelmed with admiration, "You have learned to apparate!
"Of course not," said Harry.Lowering his voice so that the sixth graders would not hear him, he told them both about the Marauder's Map.
"Why did Fred and George never give it to me!" Ron became angry, "I'm their real brother!"
And when she heard that Vanessa had obtained the Rubik's Cube, Hermione immediately became angry, "I should go back and finish my alchemy coursework now."
Ron and Harry quickly grabbed each other, "Don't be so disappointing, okay?" Ron begged.
Then, Harry mentioned that he saw Kayla, the catwoman.
"It must be an illusion. There are so many small black dots, you will be blinded," Ron said disapprovingly. "Maybe what you saw was Kevin Raphael, that black kid in Hufflepuff."
Seeing Hermione's suspicious gaze, Harry could only shrug his shoulders, "Maybe."
After buying a load of candy, the three left Honeydukes and walked into a snowstorm.
Hogsmeade looked like a Christmas card, with thatched cottages and shops covered in fresh snow, holly wreaths hanging from the doors, and enchanted strings of candles adorning the trees.
Harry shivered. Unlike the two of them, he wasn't wearing a cloak.
The three walked forward in the street with their heads bowed against the wind, Ron and Hermione shouting from inside their scarves.
"That's the post office."
"Zoko's Joke Shop is just ahead."
"We can go to the Shrieking Shack."
"I say," said Ron, chattering his teeth, "how about we go to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer?"
Harry was exactly what he wanted.
His hands were numb with the cold wind, so the three of them crossed the road and were in the little bar a few minutes later.
A good-looking, curvaceous woman greeted a rowdy group of wizards at the bar.
"That's Ms. Rosmerta," said Ron. "I'll get a drink, okay?" he added, blushing a little.
Harry and Hermione squeezed to the back of the bar, where there was a small empty table between the windows and a pretty Christmas tree, next to the fireplace.
Ron came five minutes later with three big mugs of hot, frothy butterbeer.
"Merry Christmas!" he said cheerfully, raising his glass.
Harry took a swig as a sudden cool breeze ruffled his hair.
The Three Broomsticks door opened, and Harry looked over the rim of his glass, choking.
Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick walked into the bar in a gust of snow, followed by Hagrid and Professor Ollivander at the end.
In an instant, the three little ones immediately spread out the Daily Prophet, covering their heads and upper body tightly.
"What are they talking about?" Ron hid behind the newspaper, looking at Professor Flitwick who was holding the Rubik's Information Cube, and whispered.
Hermione opened her mouth, "We're too far apart, we can't hear clearly."
"Maybe you can use the extendable ears," said Harry in a whisper that sounded like a mosquito buzzing.
Ron and Hermione were surprised to see what Harry was holding in his hand, "What is this?"
"Extensible ears, George and Fred gave them to me," Harry explained.
Under their careful control, the clear conversations of several professors immediately came from one end of the retractable ear.
