Alchemy professor at Hogwarts

Chapter 188 Imperius Curse

Chapter 188 Imperius Curse

"I don't know why this happened," said Hagrid, bewildered and frustrated as he saw Buckbeak and Fang abandon him at the same time.

Hardy tried to comfort the other party, "Maybe we need to consider the emotions of magical animals more, right?"

He blinked at Hagrid.

The other party seemed to understand something, but just a little, not much, he said gruffly, "Maybe you're right, Professor Ollivander."

"Fantastic Beast moods? Oh, that sounds so fresh," said Hagrid. "I thought they'd just have to be fed."

Hardy and Hagrid walked to the hut next to the pumpkin patch together, and Buckbeak ran away, so the latter didn't have to sneak into the Forbidden Forest.

With a wave of the wand, the two terrariums in the hut snapped into a low table and an armchair.

Hardy sat down and watched as Hagrid's huge body was also stuffed in, as if he had been kidnapped.

So Hardy had to wave his wand again, doubling the size of his armchair.

"call--"

Hagrid blushed and let out a long sigh of relief, "Thanks, it's much more comfortable this way."

"Ah, hot tea!" He got up and fetched the teapot and water cup, and asked, "Is there anything I can do for you, Professor."

"Of course," Hardy nodded, explaining his reason for coming.

He wondered why a Kodiak green dragon would attack their flying car for no reason.

"It's a great honor to help you, Professor." Hagrid was obviously very interested in Hardy's experience. "This is really an interesting experience, racing against fire dragons!"

That's why you, Hagrid, have this strange excitement... Hardy thought helplessly.

The other party can always turn a blind eye to the danger of magical animals, so——

Hardy was really worried that the hippogriff was going to kick some little wizard out of the way in the other class.

If such a teaching accident occurs, I am afraid that the Ministry of Magic's Committee on Handling Dangerous Creatures will make a big fuss about it.

Lucius Malfoy will also seize this good opportunity and spare no effort to attack Dumbledore's management style.

"It's impossible to control the Kodiak green dragon, absolutely impossible," Hagrid shook his head, his hair all sticking to his face, "we can only raise it and then domesticate it."

"but--"

He straightened his back somewhat proudly, "Harry and Ron said that there is no better dragon breeder than me in the whole of England!"

"It's what they insisted on saying, but I don't actually think so..." Hagrid sneaked a glance at Hardy, showing an embarrassed expression.

"Is there really no way to control the fire dragon?" Hardy tapped his fingers on the low-legged round table, "The Imperius Curse doesn't work either?"

With a bang, the teacup in Hagrid's hand fell to the ground, and he looked panicked, frantically looking for a rag.

"That's one of the three Unforgivable Curses!" he whispered, and walked to the window to make sure there were no furtive eavesdroppers lurking outside the cabin.

Hardy raised his wand, and the huge armchair slid under Hagrid's buttocks, dragging him back, "We're not discussing how to control Cornelius Fudge's head."

"There's no need to be so nervous." Hardy tried to calm down the nervous Hagrid.

The reason why the Imperius Curse was suddenly mentioned at this time is because of Hardy's weird feeling when facing the Kodiak green dragon.

The eyes of the other party looking at him when he was in a coma were filled with too much anthropomorphic anger.

He didn't think that was something a Kodiak green dragon could show.

Something must be controlling it.

This is Hardy's speculation about the attack on the flying car.

"Oh, this, this," Hagrid refilled the wiped teacup with tea, "it's impossible, it can't be done, at least I've never seen it."

"Fire dragons, no matter what kind of fire dragon they are," he emphasized in a serious voice, "are extremely noble creatures, and they will not be willing to let humans control them."

"Even if I am tame, I just hope to be friends with them, we are equal!"

Hardy questioned: "But the Imperius Curse doesn't pay attention to equality and voluntariness with you. It is one of the Unforgivable Curses, isn't it?"

"Of course, what you said is absolutely right," Hagrid said in a much weaker manner, "but what kind of wizard would be able to control a huge fire dragon?"

"Using a spell to suppress and play with the consciousness of an adult Kodiak green dragon," Hagrid hesitated, "that requires a lot of power."

Chatting with Hagrid, an expert on magical animals, let Hardy understand the difficulty of using the Imperius Curse to control adult dragons.

He stood up and walked to the door of the hut, "You are right, Hagrid, if it could be done, maybe the mysterious man would have led an army of fire dragons."

On Wednesday, the sun was shining brightly, and the entire Hogwarts Castle was shrouded in blazing sunlight.

At nine o'clock in the morning, Hardy saw Braden in the hall, with Hermione behind him.

The messy-haired little witch is immersed in a paper in her hand.

"Watch out!" Hermione bumped into Braden who stopped suddenly, who turned and said, clutching his waist, moaning.

Hermione rubbed her forehead and raised her head, "Mr. Smith, what's wrong with your waist?"

She didn't think that her bump just now had hurt the opponent's left waist and made him gasp in pain.

"Uh...no, nothing..." Braden's face turned blue, as if someone had exposed some scandal, "it was just hurt by a Muggle."

"A... Muggle?" Hermione cast a puzzled look.

"Don't ask any more questions, okay, Miss Granger," Hardy came to greet them with a smile, "That's Mr. and Mrs. Smith's private business."

Brayden blushed.

Hermione's face was redder than his.

Hardy tapped the opponent's little head lightly with his wand, signaling her to forget those wonderful images in her mind.

"Hardy!"

On the marble steps, Dumbledore in white robes had a harsh voice, and the sunlight made his beard glisten.

"You shouldn't be using Legilimency on students!" he cautioned.

"Legiliency? What?" Braden's eyes widened. "Hey, buddy, you know this?"

Hermione let out a sudden scream, and hurried away, clutching her burning face.

Hardy shrugged his shoulders helplessly, "The letter is flying!" He grabbed the paper Hermione dropped.

"What's wrong with her?" Braden watched as Hermione ran away and disappeared into the corner of the corridor, "What did you see in her head?"

"It's just something every little witch would dream about." Hardy replied vaguely.

"You'll hurt Miss Granger," Dumbledore said, walking up to Hardy. "You shouldn't see what's going on in her mind."

Hardy put away the paper so that he could return it to Hermione next time. He raised his head and blinked, "Oh, so you, Headmaster Dumbledore—"

"All right!"

Dumbledore suddenly raised his voice, and he interrupted Hardy, "You are looking for Mrs. Pince, right? She has returned to school, and I told her in advance."

His eyes behind half-moon spectacles stared at Brayden. "So, have you brought a Ministry of Magic warrant, Mr. Smith."

"As the principal, I have an obligation to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the school's teachers and students," he said. "The inquiry must ensure that the procedures are legal and complete."

"Of course," Braden handed Dumbledore a piece of parchment stamped with the Ministry of Magic's seal.

After the other party confirmed it was correct, the three of them walked towards the Hogwarts library together.
